Another issue is to explore the variation among teachers in their solutions to ethical conflicts. The empirical methods used to collect data are critical incidents and interviews. Teacher ethics as well as teacher professionalism are found to concern two types of moral responsibilities. One follow from teachers' mission to serve society. The other is derived from students' rights, which seem to be surprisingly unexplored by both practitioners and in research

Sammanfattning på engelska med titeln: Ethics and practice in teaching : an empirical study of teachers' ethical conflicts in comprehensive school

The aim of this study is to explore ethical dimensions in the teaching profession, by studying ethical conflicts in teachers' everyday life in relation to students, parents and colleagues.
