Sammanfattning: What constitutes a good research problem? And how do you go about formulating one? Whereas the research problem is one of the key components of an academic thesis, formulating research problems has been surprisingly neglected in the literature on research methods. In this book, four different approaches to the formulation of research problems are presented: the gap approach, the grounded approach, the mystery approach, and the actor approach. The book provides an overview of the different approaches, highlights differences and similarities, and encourages experimentation in order to formulate creative and relevant research problems.
